Universal Base Gel

A universally compatible base gel, designed to work with soak-off and hard gels. X-Bond is designed to replace your regular base gel (Luxio Base, Pro-Formance Adhere, Options Base, or Options Opti-Bond) to extend wear on clients who experience retention issues such as lifting. X-Bond is especially useful for clients who have thin, overfilled, or compromised nails (over acidified). 

Prescription Base X-Bond is the updated version of X-Bond with a fresh new look, now TPO-Free and HEMA-free.

When to Use X-Bond?

Use Prescription Base X-Bond with any Akzéntz gel instead of the default base coat when:

• A client who experience lifting
• A clients nails are thin/flexible 
• A client whose nails are over-filled and/or over-acidifed

Recommended Use

Step 1: After Nail Prep Procedure
After completing your usual nail prep procedure including cuticle work, etching the nail plate, cleansing with Akzentz Prep & Wipe and applying primer (optional), apply a very thin and controlled layer of X-Bond to the surface of the nails. 

Step 2: Cure
Cure for 30 seconds in an Akzéntz LED Light. We recommend using an Akzéntz LED light for optimal results. 

Step 3: Builder or Colour 
After curing, do not wipe the inhibition layer from the nails. Apply the builder or colour gel service of your choice.
