Shipping Policy
At Akzéntz®, each order is packed with care and dispatched as efficiently as possible. Most orders ship within 1–2 business days, excluding weekends, holidays, and peak sale periods. All processing, packing, shipping, and delivery timelines are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed. Large orders may require additional packing time.
Shipping Carriers
Orders are shipped using Canada Post, FedEx, UPS, or another appropriate carrier depending on destination, package contents, and service availability.
Tracking information is provided for all shipments once an order has been dispatched.
Certain products, including flammable items, cannot be shipped through postal services and may require courier delivery.
Delivery & Carrier Responsibility
Orders are shipped to the address provided at checkout. Customers are responsible for ensuring all shipping information is complete and accurate prior to placing an order.
Akzéntz® is not responsible for delays, misdeliveries, returned shipments, or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete shipping information.
Once a shipment has been accepted by the carrier, transportation, customs clearance, and final delivery are managed by the carrier and relevant authorities. Delivery timelines displayed at checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Delays caused by carrier operations, customs processing, weather events, labour disruptions, border inspections, or other circumstances beyond our control do not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund, or compensation.
Customers must contact the carrier directly regarding delivery delays, delivery instructions, tracking updates, customs holds, or other shipment-related inquiries. Akzéntz® will provide reasonable assistance where possible but cannot intervene in carrier or customs processes.
Delivered Packages
Once a shipment is marked as delivered by the carrier, responsibility for the package transfers to the recipient.
Akzéntz® is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, damaged, or missing after delivery confirmation. Customers experiencing delivery issues should contact the carrier directly to initiate an investigation.
Refused, Unclaimed, or Returned Shipments
If a shipment is refused, unclaimed, or returned to sender, any refund issued will be less all original shipping charges, return shipping charges, duties, taxes, handling fees, and other costs incurred.
Re-shipment of returned parcels may be arranged at the customer's expense.
Orders in Transit
Orders cannot be modified, cancelled, or refunded once they have been processed, fulfilled, and transferred to the carrier.
Refunds cannot be issued for shipments that remain in transit. Customers who no longer wish to receive their order may refuse delivery where available or return unopened products in accordance with our Returns Policy after delivery.
Shipping charges are non-refundable once shipping services have been rendered.
Customs, Duties, Tariffs & Taxes
International shipments (including the USA) may be subject to duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, or other import charges imposed by the destination country.
These charges are the sole responsibility of the recipient and are not included in product or shipping prices unless expressly stated otherwise.
Akzéntz® prepares all export documentation accurately and in compliance with applicable regulations but has no control over customs assessments, inspections, clearance procedures, or import charges.
Customs delays, inspections, holds, or clearance requirements do not constitute a delivery failure and do not qualify an order for cancellation or refund while in transit.
If duties, taxes, or import fees are refused, any refund issued will be less all shipping, return, customs, and handling costs incurred.
United States Orders
Akzéntz® products are manufactured in Canada and currently qualify for duty-free treatment under CUSMA/USMCA when applicable.
State and local taxes may still apply depending on destination.
If duties or tariffs are assessed in error, customers must work directly with the carrier or relevant customs authority, as Akzéntz® cannot alter or reverse government assessments.
Complimentary Shipping
Complimentary shipping is available on most orders over $249 CAD and on eligible U.S. and international orders over $249 USD.
Exclusions may apply to remote locations, oversized shipments, hazardous goods, and courier-only items.
Minimum purchase thresholds are calculated before discounts, taxes, duties, and fees.
Out of Stock Items
If an item becomes unavailable before shipment, it will be removed from the order and refunded to the original payment method. The remaining items will be shipped without delay.
Tracking & Delivery Estimates
Tracking updates may take 1–4 business days to appear after shipment.
For the most accurate delivery information, customers should refer to the carrier's tracking page and contact the carrier directly regarding delivery status.
